About David Vargas
David Vargas a musician, composer and songwriter from The Bronx, New York City. His family moved to Newark, New Jersey where he started playing guitar at the ago of nine. With a passion of music, paticipated in his first school talent show at 10. His relatives are full of artist and musicians of Latin decent, hailing from Puerto Rico.
David wrote songs at 17 with concise note arrangements, and musical identity, with main instruments consisting of acoustic and electric guitar. He also played piano in several talent shows and parties. At the age of 11, David’s mother decided to buy him and his brothers a Yamaha piano, but David stuck to the guitars.
David has played and worked with many musicians since a young age. His first band from 15-23 years old, which he formed, played in several stadium venues in Newark and New York City clubs in 70's, that sadly are no longer standing. Musicians had many opportunities back then, we would entertain the neighborhood in our garages just for fun.
David decided to get married at an early age to raise a family, but says it is never too late to make music and have fun. After raising his family, David picked up his guitar again after 37 years and started writing his music again at 64.
As of now, David has wrote nine songs in the past three years, recorded five, and has them available on streaming platforms such as Spotify and YouTube, where you can find the music videos as well. David has worked and recorded with several talented musicians in Toms River in the past three years, and will continue to write songs that he hopes people will relate to through shared experiences in life.
Emila’ Records LLC, is an independent record label for songwriters, created by David, spanning from genres of Rock, Hard Rock, Pop Rock, Soft Rock, Christian, Acoustics and Classical tones.
